Divorce & Co-Parenting Counseling

Divorce marks the end of the romantic relationship, but when children are involved, it is not the end of relating. You will be connected to this person for years to come, through school events and holidays, milestones, and hard days. How you navigate that ongoing relationship matters enormously, both for your children and for yourself.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist trained in Family Systems Theory, and as a divorced parent of two and a step-parent of two, I understand how much this asks of you. Co-parenting requires you to separate your own grief and hurt from your children's needs, to communicate with someone you may no longer trust, and to build a new kind of partnership grounded not in romance but in shared responsibility and care.

Divorce marks the end of the romantic relationship, but when children are involved, it is not the end of relating.

In our work together, we focus on building the skills and emotional resilience to make that possible, so that your co-parenting relationship becomes something that supports everyone involved, especially your children. Whether you are just beginning this process or have been struggling for a while, I am here to help you find a way forward that feels sustainable and respectful.
